Western Red Cedar is one of the most rot resistant species of wood on earth. Its natural durability has been used for centuries where resistance to rot is imperative. Stave goes further to protect your investment in your new cedar sidewall. With a 74 year track record, Stave Lake has been built on a tradition of product quality and integrity. Every warranty that is processed in our office is signed in ink. After the registration number has been assigned to the warranty they are filed and the signed copies are sent to both the home owner and the contractor. Stave Lake Cedar guarantees our products and therefore has the best warranty in the business.

IMPORTANT WARRANTY INFORMATION As an active member of the Cedar Shake and Shingle Bureau, you have access to two limited warranty programs. Your Stave Lake shingles will be delivered with a Bureau Certified label. The Stave Lake warranty may not be listed on the box label but should be provided by your contractor. The mill warranty exceeds this Bureau warranty without requiring an approved Bureau installer.

To obtain your Stave Lake Cedar Warranty, follow the steps below:

Download the warranty PDF, ﬁll it out and mail it to us, along with a copy of your rooﬁng contract showing the use of Stave Lake Cedar shakes or shingles, and ﬁve Stave Lake labels.
When we receive your warranty sheet, we review it to make sure everything is in order, and then give each warranty its own registration number.
We create your oﬃcial warranty documentation, listing your registered warranty number.
The warranty documentation is signed by us, in ink, and a copy of it is sent to you, the homeowner, and a copy is also sent to your contractor for his/her records.
